La Lechonera Products began in the 1960’s from La Lechonera Restaurants. The sauces and marinades were made at the request of customers from the kitchens of the original restaurants in “Little Havana”, Miami, Florida. The original island flavors of garlic, onion, and tropical flavorings made ordinary cuts of meat an extraordinary Latin cuisine.
La Lechonera Products bottled the “original mojo” in the United States in the late 1960’s. For the past 40 years, these special flavors have been distributed across the United States from South Florida to Texas, Chicago, New York, and California.
